13th Sunday in Ordinary Time (Mark 5:21-43)

Jairus' Daughter and the Hemorrhage Woman

"One of the synagogue officials, named Jairus, came forward. Seeing him he fell at his feet

and pleaded earnestly with him, saying, "My daughter is at the point of death. Please, come lay your hands on her that she may get well and live."

He went off with him, and a large crowd followed him and pressed upon him."

The Call to serve

We just reported back to the semianry last June 3, 2012. While I was settling my things down for my room. I happened to passed by the Sta. Monica Hall and met along the way our new Prior, Fr. Bong. As he saw me, he immediately called my attention and talked to me about creating a new website for APAC. He gave me the name of Sr. Widwid, OSA to contact or wait for her call. They wanted me to be part of the organizing team of the website. Since it was the prior, who approached me and by my vow of obedience, I did not hesitate to accept the favor.
After that very very short talk, I asked and wondered how come that I'm the one they contacted.
I later found out when Sr. Widwid called me one evening that Fr. Berdon mentioned two names, who could help her on the website project, myself and Fray Stephen. Since Fray Stephen is assigned in Cebu, so he can't have much time for the project. Eventually, I'm the other option.

I am willing to work on them and even excited since this is an international project of the Augustinians in Asia and the Pacific. To be part of this project is an honor. And, I humbly offer my gifts and skills as long as my capacity allows, I will help them.
