Bonding with the 3rd World Community Children

March 20, 2011 - This was a memorable experience to be these children, (on the picture L-R: Robert, me, Grace, Nimfa, Harold, Jeni, Ate Donna, Dora and Edmar). These are the children that Fray Harold attends to in his apostolate area together with Fray Aimark and Fray Tony. Since Aimark and Tony can't come, we were invited to come with them.

A sumptuous lunch was served courtesy of Fray Harold.

After a sumptuous lunch near the man-made lake in Wildlife, we had a little tour around the place. It was my first time to visit this place after 4 years of staying here in Quezon City. My friends told me that this is a beautiful place and a lot of animals are in this place. However, when I arrived in Wildlife, I was disappointed. There was no maintenance to take care the zoo. Birds are stressed because their cage is placed near the road.

We then went to Quezon City Memorial Circle. We took a 20-minute walk from wildlife to Memorial circle. There, we spent most of the time until 4:00pm. We rented two Trysikad, which only costs Php 120.00 each. The kids really love to ride on a bike. After their turn, we took their places. Edmar was our driver and we went round and round on the circuit for 4 times.
